Australia Skybury

Nestled in the heart of the Atherton Tablelands, just 55 kilometres west of Cairns, the family-run estate sits at an elevation of 550–600 metres above sea level in the lush Mareeba region of northern Queensland.

Once known primarily for its rodeo shows and thriving tobacco industry, the area has a long yet turbulent history with coffee. First celebrated in the early 1900s for producing exceptional beans, cultivation waned through economic shifts and harsh climatic events—only to be revived with new energy and expertise in the late 1970s.

Today, the estate thrives thanks to state-of-the-art farming practices. With automated irrigation, precision harvesting, and advanced processing and drying systems, a dedicated team of just eight people carefully oversee an impressive annual yield of around 150 tonnes of premium green coffee beans.
