What an amazing two days! We'll worth the money and well worth travelling for. We came up from Berkshire to do the course as more local courses didn't seem to offer half as much as the Limini one and we were not disappointed! Vicki was friendly and enthusiastic, we were blown away by her knowledge both of business and coffee. It seems impossible that we could learn so much in just two days but we have come away feeling so much more confident in our dream. Not only were the Limini team knowledgeable about all areas of coffee they were able to taylor everything to our vision and help us visualise where we want to be not just at start up but in the future too. We can't wait to get started on our business! We now need to start our own coffee shop as so far after visiting 3 of our usual haunts we've yet to find a cup of coffee that lives up to all we learned! Thank you Vicki! - Chloe & Dave

Whether you are a company sending employees or (like myself) a Coffee lover just wanting to make the next level of home brewed coffee, Limini is the place to go, Iimini is on my door step and only recently found they were there, and what a find, they have loads of different blends (my favourite is the Limini blend, bold but smooth) and all are fresh (the only way to get really good coffee). Wanting that extra coffee knowledge I hinted at home that I'd Love to do the barista course........ And what an awesome course it is. Vicky is a great trainer, friendly, really Knowledgeable and fun to make coffee with, we were constantly making coffee (and tasting it) for three hours and the time disappeared. I'm a home barista and have been getting more interested in coffee since getting my first coffee machine 6 months ago. After lots of online research I started to get the hang of my machine and ok results with my coffee. The course was just what I needed to make my coffee skills that much better. Vicki was a great teacher and it made it even better that there was only me there that day so I got the most out of her great coffee knowledge. She reinforced the knowledge I already had and added so much more that I didn't. It was fun trying to master the bigger machines after being used to my smaller one and definitely has made me keen to one day treat myself to a better dual boiler style machine. She helped me get started with trying to get the hang of latte art too which was great so i can now try and perfect it at home. I also enjoyed learning about the roasting process and how the flavours of the coffee are developed. Overall I would recommend the course to anyone with an interest in drinking great tasting coffee no matter what level they are at as Vicki made the experience really fun as well as very informative and has definitely improved my coffee making skills and understanding a huge amount! Hopefully I'll come back at some point to take on the more advanced course to learn even more! Thanks to Vicki and everyone at Limini Coffee. Gary

I took advantage of the two day course on how to start up your own coffee shop business. It wasn't cheap, however, I will continue to use the service when I develop the business, when I will probably get more out of it. Vicki, who looked after me for the two days was very enthusiastic, very knowledgable and very skilful, she made me feel very welcome and the days flowed very well, combining coffee making, education and also some great business tips. It changed my view on coffee and I have been comparing different coffees in different coffee shops since the course. So, overall it was well worth it, it has opened my eyes to how coffee should be served and I have been enthused to make the best coffee in my town when we open for business. - Jim Toohey

Limini Coffee exceeded all our expectations. The day was a great combination of relaxed and fun yet really professional and very well managed. Within the hands-on training we also had time to ask all kinds of questions (without embarrassment of sounding stupid!). Youri is a font of knowledge and so passionate about coffee. The Barista course was brilliant, being very informative, hands-on and great fun! We learned so much about the complexities and intricacies of coffee making and actually how simple it is to make a truly exceptional coffee. The course is very hands-on, such that, we were able to practice making numerous different coffees as we went along and understand processes, what happens at each step, how to get it right. The trainer Vicki was fantastic - she has a real passion and enthusiasm for the art/science of coffee-making which really shines through, and she made the course a very enjoyable experience. In fact we had such fun that time flew by. At the end of the course we learned a lot about coffee and acquired many new skills. We highly recommend this course. Thank you Limini!! Steve and Katie

1-2-1 Barista training course with Vicki was fantastic! Vicki knows her stuff and as inspired me to continue to follow pursuing a new career in coffee! I had a one-on-one day with Vicki and had a great time. The course was well-designed, covered everything you could possibly know about coffee and was almost entirely hands on. I learnt a vast amount of information that I now use day-to-day in my job. The course was delivered in a relaxed and friendly way so I never felt overwhelmed with technical information but rather was learning by doing. I also received great advice catered to my business and its needs. Overall, I couldn't recommend this course enough. Limini really know their coffee! If you were to go anywhere for anything from a comprehensive training course to a bit of friendly coffee advice, Limini is the place to go to. - Ruth

What a great experience! We had 2:1 training with Vicki on How to Start a Coffee Shop. Although, on our part, we were a little apprehensive as to what to expect and what would be expected of us - Vicki had us making coffee like a 'pro' and discussing the various coffee beans in no time, never knew there was so much choice! Vicki's ideas and enthusiasm are so refreshing, her level of knowledge is incredible. Vicki, you gave us the confidence to put into practice all that you taught us. We have already been in contact with local suppliers for our bread (we know where we're getting our coffee from!) and we have even carried out a little 'market research' of some of the local coffee shops where we would like to open, not bad considering we only completed the course with you last Friday! Your energy and drive has rubbed off. It was lovely to meet you Ruth best wishes with your pregnancy, it was great meeting Youri. Thank you very much Vicki, we will keep you informed of our progress.
